Returns and Exchanges

RETURNS

We accept returns (please see exceptions below) within 7 days of purchase or upon receiving your orders for refund(s). All refunds will be in the form of store credits.


Store credit(s) will be valid for 3 months from the date of issue.

  • For a return, email us at hello@happyislanders.fun. Please provide us with your order number in the email.

  • Your item is not eligible for exchange or return if you do not have an order number.

  • Upon receiving our confirmation of your returns, you may send your item(s) back to our address within 14 days for local orders and 21 days for overseas orders. 

  • Items must be in original, unworn condition with packaging and tags still intact.

  • All items must be shipped back to us in the original box to avoid damaging the jewellery. Any returns with damage will not be refunded.

  • Sale items and any items using any promo code cannot be returned.

  • Happy Islanders reserves the rights to reject any returns request if it does not comply with our returns policy.

  • Due to hygiene purposes, we could not accept any returns/exchanges for Earrings.

  • Sale Items are not eligible for returns. 

DAMAGED PRODUCT


Don't worry! If you’ve received a damaged or incorrect item, send us an email at hello@happyislanders.fun with a clear photo of the defect or the wrong item you received. Please include your name, order number and the receipt in the email.


Please note that we could only process any returns or exchange if you have a valid receipt.
 


WARRANTY

All our Demi-fine Jewellery have a warranty of up to 60 days from the day of dispatch.
 

Our warranty does not cover your item due to the following:
 

Normal Wear and Tear

  • Scratches, dents, or general aging of metals and gemstones.

Loss or Theft

  • Items that are lost or stolen are usually not covered.

Accidental Damage

  • Chips, cracks, or breaks caused by dropping or hitting the jewelry.

Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications

  • Any alterations or repairs done by a third party void the warranty.

Improper Care or Misuse

  • Damage caused by exposure to harsh chemicals, water, or neglect.

Loss of Stones Due to Impact

  • Stones that fall out due to accidental knocks or impacts may not be covered.

Cosmetic Issues

  • Discoloration, tarnish, or fading of plating over time.

Customized or Altered Pieces

  • Warranties may not cover items that have been resized, engraved, or altered post-purchase

​Damage Due to Environmental Exposure

  • Exposure to extreme temperatures, chlorine, salt water, or cleaning agents.

Chain Breakage

  • Unless specifically stated, chains and clasps are often excluded.

Prong Re-Tipping and Stone Tightening

  • These may be considered maintenance rather than warranty repairs.

Pearl Restringing

  • Pearls naturally require regular restringing and are often excluded.

Non-Manufacturing Defects

  • Issues not caused by faulty materials or craftsmanship.
     

Any repair charges will be borne by the customer. The item will be confirmed by our customer service team if your item is repairable.​ We regret to inform you that we only provide repair services for Happy Islanders pieces.

Processing of returns


Once we have received your return package, it will takes up to 14 business days to process your return and issue a refund. An email update will be sent once we process your return and the store credit will be issued. 

Please note that the store credit may take up to 5 working days to be shown in your account.

We are unable to refund any shipping fees on any orders. 

For orders outside of Singapore, there may be duties and taxes. The duties and taxes incurred will be borne by you. Please note that we are unable to reimburse any shipping fees or duties and taxes.
